Espen Johannesen appointed COO and CFO of Arktika Capital
Arktika Capital has appointed Espen Johannesen as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Espen joined Arktika earlier in 2026 as COO and Interim CFO and now assumes the CFO role on a permanent basis.
Espen brings more than 15 years of experience from European consumer finance and banking. Before joining Arktika, he held several senior positions at TF Bank, including Group COO, CEO of BB Bank in Norway and Country Manager Germany.
In his role at Arktika, Espen is responsible for the company’s operations and finance functions and will play a central role in developing the organisation as Arktika expands its NPL investment activities and funding platform across Europe.
His appointment strengthens Arktika Capital’s management team as the company continues to build its operating platform following the start of its regulated activities in late 2025.
