Through the Raisin platform, German consumers can place EUR-denominated fixed-term deposits with Arktika Capital. The deposits are offered under Arktika Capital’s existing deposit-taking authorisation.
The launch broadens Arktika Capital’s funding base beyond the Swedish market and adds access to euro-denominated retail deposits through an established European distribution platform.
For Arktika Capital, the German launch is part of the development of a diversified and scalable funding model supporting the acquisition and management of non-performing loan portfolios across Europe.
Eligible deposits placed with Arktika Capital through Raisin are covered by the Swedish deposit guarantee administered by the Swedish National Debt Office, Riksgälden, subject to the applicable terms and limits.
The launch marks a further step in Arktika Capital’s development as a specialised Nordic credit institution with access to deposit funding across Europe.
